Promoting the training and cultivation of skilled talents is one of the key suggestions recently put forward by Feng Bin, a deputy to the fourth session of the 13th Jilin Provincial People's Congress, according to Jilin Daily.

According to Feng, the manufacturing industry in Jilin province is now fully revitalized. However, at present, companies are facing difficulties in recruiting skilled workers. Vocational colleges are experiencing difficulties in recruiting students. And quite a number of college graduates are experiencing difficulties in finding employment due to a lack of vocational skills.

Over the past few years, Feng has promoted school-enterprise cooperation through his model worker studio, led students to participate in practical projects, and learned about current issues in skilled talent training.

Faced with these problems, Feng has suggested that vocational colleges should consider adjusting their majors and curricula according to the employment needs of enterprises, as well as developing effective measures to improve the income of skilled workers.
