The Golden Deer Awards of the 15th Changchun Film Festival -- in 10 main categories -- were presented at a glittering ceremony on Sept 10 held in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, according to local media reports.

The Changchun Film Festival is one of the four major film festivals in China.

The movies selected and exhibited in this year's festival were produced from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2020 and obtained the public screening licenses.

At the end of the awards ceremony, all members of the jury were interviewed.

Jury chairman Ding Yinnan said that, the biggest feature of this year's award appraisal was truthfulness and sincerity. Many awards were conferred after multiple rounds of voting.

According to local media reports, Spring Tide was the big winner of the festival, scooping up the Grand Jury Prize and the Best Director Prize.

Ren Suxi and Hailati Hamu won the awards for best actress and best actor, respectively, for Almost a Comedy and Fade Away Pastoral.
