The Summit of Industry Convergence in Film and Television was held in Changchun, capital city of Northeast China's Jilin province on Sept 6 -- the second day of the 15th Changchun Film Festival -- according to local media reports.

Sponsored by China Media Group and the government of Jilin province, the summit invited representatives from film and television industry associations, leading film and television enterprises and others to attend.

At the forum, participants shared their experiences and suggestions on the topics of the "industry convergence of film and television in the age of globalization", "intellectual property convergence with film and television" and "cultural tourism convergence with film and television".

The forum focused on improving the quality of creations and promoting the development of the film and television industry.

It also focused on new ideas, new trends and new problems in the industry, as well as exploring the opportunities, challenges and possible paths in its future development.
