Northeast China’s Jilin province announced 100 new policies to expand its opening-up at the second press conference for the provincial two sessions on Jan 28.

The 100 polices cover a total of nine areas: easier market access, improved investment and trade policies, new preferential policies, fee reductions, financial support, the recruitment of skilled professionals, guaranteed production factors, an improved business environment, and better government services.

Representatives from eight provincial government departments including the finance department, development and reform commission, and department of commerce announced the policies and explained details.

The policies are designed to make the province a more attractive place for companies to do business, according to a director of the development and reform commission.
