The intelligent high-speed train from Beijing to Zhangjiakou will be driverless and environmental friendly, saving over 7.5 percent of energy while going on test in June 2019, according to deputy Wang Run at Jilin delegates' opening meeting on March 6.

Wang is the chairman of CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles in which Fuxing bullet train was developed.

He said, "We are making Beijing-Zhangjiakou Intelligent high-speed EMU, which will be smart, green and humanized".

He also said that the company needs to continue developing R&D, innovate, improve technology and attract international talents in order to enhance the competiveness of China's high speed rail.

The company has already established R&D centers and technological innovation platforms in many countries around the world such as the US, Russia and Australia.

Overseas centers, platforms and operations helps the company make full use of resources from around the world.

Wang mentioned that the tailored services for different clients and passengers are also crucial in improving China's influences in the field of high speed rail.

"We will make 'China's high speed rail' impressive around the world," he added.
