People at Changbai Mountain area have different expectations from the 13th National People's Congress which opened on March 5 in Beijing.

Zhang Congshan, deputy head of the Jilin Changbai Mountain Protection Development Management Committee's Baihe Protection Station, said that he hopes the government will expand promotion on environment protection to educate more people on ecology and nature and to raise their awareness to protect the wild.

Zhao Yudong, a staff member at the Committee, was excited about constructing new tourism demonstration area by developing a new consumption module.

"Changbai Mountain is one of the first national tourism demonstration areas and the report gives me upmost confidence to build the scenic spot into a better ecological travelling zone," Zhao said.

In terms of other travel affairs delivered at the opening session, Head of the Changbai Mountain Tourism Administration Meng Fanying also shared his views.

"Three parts left me with deep impressions -- toilet reform at the scenic spots, full-chain tourism and the ticket price," Meng explained.

"Changbai Mountain Scenic Spot will continue to better the toilet facilities and at simultaneously accelerate the development of new travel routes to complete the full-chain tourism module."

As for increasing incomes, Meng added that the Spot's committee will not inflate the ticket price but rather improve its services and integrate sports and culture into tourism.
