Jilin provincial CPPCC member Zou Lianhe brought his proposal on building an online innovative achievement trading platform in Jilin province to the 12th Jilin Committee of the CPPCC Sessions that opened on Jan 25.

Zou explained that there are many small and middle sized enterprises that have a large demand for technological achievements.

Over 90 percent of them do not have development abilities, nor do they have their own technical patents and talents.

However, there are many colleges in Jilin province that have cultivated professional talents.

Zou suggested local governments integrate technical resources within the province and open an online innovative achievement trading platform to build a bridge between innovative institutes and enterprises.

"The platform will promote enthusiasm for developing high-end products as well as the rise of new innovative centers," he said.

"Increasing high-tech achievements will be beneficial to economic growth in Jilin province," Zou added.
