Jilin Delegate Cui Guangri, in uniform with eight medals shining on his chest, strode through the "Delegate Passage" to be interviewed on Oct 19.

He introduced himself forcefully, saying "I'm Cui Guangri, from Wangqing Public Security Bureau of Jilin Province."

He has been working as a policeman for 28 years maintaining public security, seizing drug smugglers and managing traffic.

He is now working as an instructor at the Wangqing Traffic Police Brigade.

He never thought of leaving his position despite the hardships, which included bad weather and threats to his life he encountered when capturing criminals.

"I love my job and I will try my best to better serve the people," Cui said with determination.

Cui never talked about his reputation but he is a hero respected by many people.
