The opening ceremony of the China Changchun Summer Relaxation Festival was held at Jingyuetan National Forest Park on June 21.

More than one thousand participants, drawn from media groups, the representatives of the World Tourism Organization and diplomatic missions, well-known domestic and international travel agencies, airline companies and tourism enterprises were involved in the ceremony.

Covering an area of more than 100 square kilometers, Jingyuetan National Forest Parkis located in the southeast of Changchun City, about 18 kilometers from the citycenter.

The park is a fascinating place to explore in any season, but especially in summer, when it serves as the main venue ofthe Summer Relaxation Festival.

The amount of negative oxygen inthe Forest Bathingarea of the park is about 400 times that of the urban area, which is helpful for people's metabolism and immunity.
